A study titled “Marching Towards Violence” has identified more than 150 campus groups that explicitly support terrorism or emphasize a violent anti-Israel rhetoric.

Six Jewish families have filed a lawsuit in federal court alleging that a San Mateo County school district did little to address the “pervasive antisemitism” their children have faced in school.

The parents of a former student of a San Jose charter school and six families in a wealthy Bay Area high school district have filed separate lawsuits charging “rampant” civil rights violations resulting from bullying, taunting, ostracism and other forms of antisemitic conduct. In the lawsuit brought against the Sequoia Union High School District, the families claim school officials ignored and showed “a deliberate indifference to the problem.”

Six families filed a federal lawsuit alleging widespread antisemitism in California’s Sequoia Union High School District. The complaint describes harassment, biased curriculum, and administrative indifference.

The widespread, demoralizing antisemitism continued for months, yet the school district refused to obey the law or even follow their own internal procedures to stop the harassment and cease the hostile environment which they instead allowed and enabled.

At the heart of the controversy is the emotional topic of war in Israel.

“Ridgeway posts these threats to silence her targets: to “keep my name out y’all mouth,” and so to stop them from objecting to and interfering with her continued reign of terror.”

“It’s in vogue to believe that the Jews are evil and the Jewish state is evil,” the lawyer Lori Lowenthal Marcus told JNS. “They’re feeling like they’re on the side of justice.”

It’s disgraceful that the Philadelphia School District has known about this aggressively antisemitic school teacher and has failed to rein in her profanity-laced, hateful public comments targeting Jewish families and students in the District.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia filed a complaint against a Philadelphia School District educator, saying the teacher is using her post to denounce Israel, attempting to “install her hatred” of Zionism into the curriculum, and threatening some Jewish parents via her social media.
